How come Lectroject is not talked about more?

I'm just curious, if this is a device that's proven to rid your body of certain virus', how come it's not talked about more, or out in mainstream America? I was just recently diagnosed with HSV-2 and I'm definitely interested if this is something that can help me before I have to tell people my secret.
Answer
I guess it is because it is still relatively new. Although the Lectroject device has been in use since 1996 here in South Africa it was only made available internationally during January 2005. The technology is so new that most doctors haven't heard of it yet. A multinational drug company GlaxoSmithKline is at present attempting to develop the same device at a cost of US$27 million. When theirs come onto the market they will launch massive advertising campaigns aimed at doctors. We cant afford to spend the huge sums of money to reach these people. Infomercials would, I believe turn the product from an ethical system into something commercial, it would also raise the price as someone has to pay for the infomercial.
It gets rid of herpes completely. A typical course is a ½ hour session daily for 10 to 15 treatments after which the virus should be eradicated (gone like it never happened). To satisfy yourself that you are free from the disease you have a P.C.R. DNA test which detects viral DNA. When PCR is negative it means that no viral DNA could be detected. i.e. No viral DNA means no virus, therefore no disease. Cured. And what's more you cannot transmit a disease that no longer exists in your body.
With the Lectroject system Electro-cure atoms of medication is concentrated by 50 times its normal strength and the (drug) follows an ionic stream through the body independently of blood flow. The atom of acyclovir is inserted into the cell where the virus is, the acyclovir atom interferes with the DNA of the virus and prevents it from replicating. The virus becomes dormant and is eliminated from the body in the normal way (by metabolism).
How acyclovir works: Acyclovir interferes with the enzymes the virus needs for replication of DNA in cells and prevents the virus from multiplying. It is also incorporated into the virus DNA chain which terminates replication. In short we use words like kill, eliminate to describe this process. So antivirals kill viruses or stop viruses from multiplying. The machine itself does not cure herpes, it delivers medication to the cell. The success or failure depends entirely on the medication used.
