Cure For Herpes - Get Your Life Back To Normal

by thomson
(ksa)

Questions from my friend who is hsv positive. He is 34 years old. Is it possible to get back a normal life again? Will it still be infectious? Is it possible for him to get married? Can you tell the name of the medication used?

Answer

Acyclovir 5% topical cream (Zovirax)is what is used in conjunction with the Lectroject system. It enters the body via two electrodes. The cream is placed on the electrodes, the electrodes are applied to the inner wrists or in the case of herpes at the top and bottom of the spine to treat the entire body.

How acyclovir works
Acyclovir interferes with the enzymes the virus needs for replication of DNA in cells and prevents the virus from multiplying. It is also incorporated into the virus DNA chain which terminates replication. In short we use words like kill, eliminate to describe this process. So antivirals kill viruses or stop viruses from multiplying. The machine itself does not cure herpes, it delivers medication to the cell. The success or failure depends entirely on the medication used.

A typical course is a ½ hour session daily for 10 to 15 treatments after which the virus should be eradicated (like in gone). To satisfy yourself that you are free from the disease you have a P.C.R. DNA test which detects viral DNA. When PCR is negative it means that no viral DNA could be detected. i.e. No viral DNA means no virus, therefore no disease. Cured. And what's more you cannot transmit a disease that no longer exists in your body.

Will it still be infectious?

Once the virus is eradicated it shouldn't be possible to transmit it NO. However if the virus is totally eliminated, you don't have immunity as you would in, say, Polio. Re-infection is possible as it is estimated that +- 80% (50 million in the USA alone) of the population carries the virus.
